Bob and Diana Bailey

Bob and Diana Bailey have been residents of Davie County since 2010. They first met in 1966 in Port Richey, Florida, where Bob's father, Reverend Carl Bailey, pastored Jasmine Lakes Baptist Church. Only friends at the time, life's circumstances moved them apart until 1992, when they were reunited. They had one date, Bob proposed, Diana said yes, and last August celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. God does work in strange ways!

Early on in their marriage they felt as though God wanted them to be in ministry but did not know what. That was until October of 2009. Diana was attending an Extraordinary Women's conference and it was there she met Sara Trollinger, founder of the House of Hope Orlando and the National House of Hope. In January of 2010 in Orlando Florida at a House of Hope training seminar Bob and Diana committted to opening a House of Hope in Davie County, now known as House of Hope Piedmont.

It took 7 years to find a property and after much prayer God led them to 217 Dayspring Way, Mocksville, where they now reside while renovations are completed on the facility.

Along with being co-founder of House of Hope Piedmont, Bob has worked at Davie High School as a custodian and will begn his 10th year there in February of 2018. Diana works at home coordinating the renovations and taking care of our 16 year old great niece and numerous pets. They are members of Redland Church, Advance, NC.
